I remember how happy I was to just be taking estrogen. I started November 13, 2023 with just one pill (2 mg). My doctor had set up a plan to increase my dose over time to see how my body adjusted to the hormone. Luckily, I didn't have to wait long.
- December 12, 2023: I increased my dose to two pills daily.
- February 28, 2024: increased to four pills daily.1
My journey has been good, aside from the dysphoria moments, but sadly that’s part of the journey. I currently identify as a non-binary woman and use they/she pronouns. This may change in the future, but we’ll see.
As part of my HRT journey, I decided to get breast implants. I knew basically from the start that I wanted large boobs, and after a year on HRT, I was able to do so.
