I have an update from the previous blog post.
I was able to get an appointment at the Ebisu TG Clinic. While on my way there, I messaged them via Line to see if I could pay via credit card – cash only.
I also asked for pricing on the patch and pills:
- Patch: ¥7700 for 28 pieces, or about two weeks of medication.
- Pills: ¥15,400 for 140, or about 70 days. [Not recommended by the clinic due to thrombosis risk.]
While I was hesitant to show up to my appointment, they didn’t charge me the ¥5500 fee since I didn’t go with them as my clinic.
When I walked in, I did see other patients that could be transgender, but without asking them, I can’t be certain.
I’ve decided to contact a clinic that’s much closer to me and see what their options are. They may only offer injections, but supposedly at an affordable price.
